| I am a life member of the Century Bowls &
Sports Club which is in Wembley, Middlesex in England, although I no longer bowl at the club..

There are two outdoor greens (each with six rinks) and one indoor green (also of six rinks).
The outdoor greens are amongst the best in Middlesex and the Home Counties. Various organisations hold their finals on the rinks.
The outdoor season is from May to September and the indoor season is from October to April. However the indoor green is available throughout the year. Matches and competitions are held throughout the year most of which are available to all members. If you prefer to play only with your friends then casual bowling sessions are also available.
Indoors there is a league which is open to non-members. Provided they belong to another club in the area, they only have to pay the green fees. This league is sponsored by Crown Honda. Incidentally like most bowls clubs, a green fee is payable each time you play indoors. However, outdoors, once you have paid your annual subscription, there is no additional cost to play.
Apart from bowls, there is also a thriving social section, which puts on Dances, Barbecues, Cabaret Nights etc. There is a fully stocked bar which is open most days of the year.
New members are always welcome - young or old, male or female. The oldest member is over 90! Free Coaching is available for all new members. Special provision is made for handicapped bowlers. Please contact the club for more information.
